Less is MORE?

Just kinda curious. Does anyone here run a reef tank without a calc reactor, sump, etc.

Just something simple like basic canister filter and protein skimmer setup.

buut my new 240 which is about to be born will have all of these, the advantage is less maintenance, better more tsable conditions for our charges

but you can have a nice reef w/o a lot of high tech expensive stuff, I do

My 75 has had just a skimmer(remora pro) on it since it was setup in August of last year. But I just finished buying everything to add a sump.

I like your brain coral. Do you have to feed it and if so, how?

When I feed the tank or at night went the tentacles are out I use the baster and douse some mysis or whatever I'm feeding over it.
