Cured LR

Hey everybody,
I just setup a 10gal QT tank. It's as follows:
10gal tank
20in NO
Penquin mini biowheel filter
50w heater
1/2 to 1in of aragonite caribsea sand
Aquaclear 301 powerhead

Anyways, getting to my question... I just purchased 12lbs of fiji LR from my LFS that was cured in the store for a few weeks. Since this stuff should have the bacteria and stuff already on it, do I still need to wait the required 4-6 weeks for a cycle to occur?

You would have to wait for the water parameters to return to normal levels...however long that takes. It may go faster if you are curing rock that is still live, versus rock that sat out of water for any length of time. It's not really a rule about time, but the die off and return to normal water parameters.
