All I did was soak the suction cups and the bottom part in vinegar. I got all the gunk out but when I plugged it back in nothing happened. No air at all. Is it shot or can I fix it. If so, how? I fixed my toilet so hopefully I can fix the ph.

Sometimes I have to give mine a kick start after I take it out to clean it. Just take a toothpick or something that size and stick it in there to hit the blades...while pluged in. Be carful not to let it chew it up. That does the job for me, hopefully that will work for you.

o.k. thanks. I will try that. In the meantime I have a m.j. 900 and an aquaclear 402 on my 55. Is that enough for water movement? 3 mush, 1 condy 2 shrimp and 7 fish. I know the fish are too much but I really don't know what to do about that other than consistent water changes.

i would suggest gettin more movement.

On my 55 I have:
Emporer 400, Prizm Skimmer, 1 Powerhead 301, and 2 Maxijet 1200's!

I fixed the maxi-jet 1200. So, as far as movement I have the mj 1200 and a mj 900 along with a prizm skimmer. I have no more room in the surge protector I use. Can I use the add on with elec. prongs right into the wall outlet without causing a fuse to blow? By Tues. I should get my pcs that are on order. Is all this going to make the fuse blow? I could have another outlet placed by the tank, I think. That's only if I have too.
