"smoking" clam

I received my 2nd half of the package from TBS tonight.

After placing the live rock, almost immediately one of my large claims is emmitting something that looks like smoke.

It has been billowing out for about 5 mintues now.

any idea what is going on? is this OK?

Hey. It might be releasing sex cells :) You might want to do a water change.

the water has gone from crystal clear to murky in about 15 mintues

the ammonia level is around .25, so I'll take your advice and change some of the water
