will a mushroom kill a hammer

i just got a nice branching hammer,, i have it on the sand right now til i could find a place in the rocks for it. i found that perfrct spot, but theres a shroom there that would be touching the hammer. would the hammer get stung by the shroom, or the shroom stung by the hammer. or would they get along fine... if worse comes to worse ill kalk the shroom. just wanted to see if i need to or not

IME, it seems that my mushrooms (standard, hairy or Ricordias) have an uncanny ability to quickly kill any stony coral they touch.

My best advice is to not let the mushroom touch the coral's body.

well i guess ill nuke the shroom. they are on the backside of the rock and not visable anyway.
