Hey everyone I spent my Saturday driving out to Elburn only to find Splash of Life closed with a For sale sign in the window. Did I just pick a bad day to go there or are they closing or going out of business?

thanks

They moved to a place in Wasco, IL. Just take rt. 47 north from Elurn to (I believe) rt. 64 and hang a right they are in small strip mall on 64 somewhere.

I was in there 2 weeks ago talking with them and they said they were moving in september maybe as late as november. The new location is on route 64 in a new shopping area between route 47 and peck road. I am not sure why they were closed when you went.

Thanks

Tom

Just confirmed with Rod that they are moving to rt 64 a few miles east of Randall. There's a "for lease" sign in the window and it just so happened nobody was there this weekend.

phew....heart attack has subsided....

so does this mean that they're even further :( ?

depends on perspective....it's about 10 minutes northeast of where they are now. Technically, closer to you.

I lose all sense of direction when I get out there anyways :)

hey mike i know this is not on the topic of this thread but it has been a while since you have mentioned anything about your new skimmer

just curious how you like it and if you could post some pics since it must be broken in by now

We are not closed down.. just had a bad weekend, and I appoligize.
We may be closing on Sundays until fall or until the new store opens. Which ever comes first.
The store is on Rt 64 (North Ave.) and LaFox Rd. (about 4 miles west of Randall). Im not certain if Splash will have the same line-up it has now, or if there will be a few new faces around.
Again, sorry for any inconvienence.
