Hi Chuck:
I am looking to improve the lighting on a 58gal Oceanic tank that has a lot of coral in it. The tank is 36" long , 18" wideand rather deep at 21". There is a glass with no other cover. Would you reccomend what you have for the tank I discribed?
I do have a rather new protein skimmer, Marineland Tidepool 1 bio-wheel sump, that might interest you...Paul in Sycamore

yes this would be a nice lights for your tank you would use 4 36" vho bulbs. you may want to make a hood. to house them.

no there has been no problem with it I have upgrade to mh And it been unuse after that about 6 mon. do they need to be rebuilt???

i use an icecap 660 of that model on my 48" vhos, works fine. wasnt rebuit

Hey Chuck I have had several IceCap ballast die on me after about 8 years of useage. I did not have mine rebuilt, I just switched to MH but was just wondering if you had yours done. I think it is about $75 to do this so I may have mine rebuilt (if I can locate them) or just purchase new ones. Thanks.
