Just wanted to show you guys my little setup, I'm fishing for comments, suggestions, etc.
Its a 20L, with 2 powerheads, and a heater, thats about it...
weekly water changes and I stopped all dosing, since I'm hoping the water changes take care of that.

Very nice. Looks like you've done a good job. How long has it been set up?

Looks nice.. Dosing helps though water changes don't give your corals all the calcium/alk they need..

Looks very nice! I'd consider opening your rockwork up a bit... it might help with flow in your tank and arches and caves always help add a little more character to your aquascaping.

Thanks TCC , its been up for about 8 months, I tranfeed most of the stuff from my 10 gal when it cracked. the inside of the wall is actually set up like a 3 cave tunnel, a fish can swim from one side of the tank to the other through the rock work...what kind of dosing do you sugest??
I like the idea of a fuge, but I want to figure out how to do it cleanly without a bunch of pipes, hey Jason, in the top pic you can see the 2 PJs.

I really like the look of your tank. Very clean and simple. Nice work!

Re Ca/Alk, you might find a 2 part additive system (B-Ionic) to be the simplest solution. If you do dose Ca/alk, you should get good test kits as well to find out your levels. Salifert makes very accurate test kits.

thanks wombat2, so even with the weekly water changes you suggest dosing?

Well, I think you need a little plastic diver swimming around, a treasure chest that bubbles, and a nice plastic anemone.

Just to give it a nice classy touch.........

The only way to know for sure is to test your water for Ca/Alk. I doubt a weekly water change is enough for that open brain, but you'd have to test to know for sure. Try tesing right after and right before you do a water change and see how much it drops.

Thedude, I was thinking more along the lines of the plastic alligator, but maybe I can put the little plastic diver in the alligator's mouth with bubbles coming out of his rear end.., haha

On a serious note, I'm going to have to get a Ca/Alk test kit...

There you go, adlib with the ornaments. There are some nice shipwrecks as well.......
