This is probably one of those "something common and I'm an idiot things", but...could you tell me what this snail is? He's got a very short and wide cone shell (straight sides, but no spiral). Also, there's some kind of fleshy bunting or fringe between his foot and shell.
First..an artists represtentation,

Looks like a blury mushroom. I can almost guarantee that Dr. Ron needs a better, clear pic.

What? Even with my drawing? :)
The second pic is what he looks like though. Very strange. For a while, I thought he was part of the rock or something. Just a pointy bump. I can try to get a pic from another side, but it will look very similar.

Can you get one that is not as blurry?
It would help!

Hi
It is a keyhole limpet. These are grazing animals, that have a wide and diverse array of acceptable foods. Many of them will graze on alge and do a marvelous job of eating it.... right along with the soft coral or sponge that lives next to it. I have a few in my systems, and they don't cause problems, but in a system with a lot of decorative live stock they may be a bit of a hassle.

They are very slow moving, but I haven't seem them do anything bad other than knocking a couple small frag rocks from their perch. The orange in the pic is some sort of big encrusting sponge.
I'm in process of setting up a new tank. These were hitchhikers and I was contemplating including them in the new setup if they weren't an issue.
Oh...and thanks TONS for the ID.
