I have a 77 gallon acrylic tank that has an integrated mini reef built into it. This tank had been a nice home for my clown trigger for the last few years, but I tore it down to go with a reef. I tore out all the bio balls and started over completely (e.g. new water, new rock, etc.). The chamber (inline) is empty where the bio balls went. All that is left is the drip plate. Any suggestions on what I should do with this area? Refugium maybe? Yes, I will be putting a goby in at some time. -Russ

I would go with a Refugium, with some macros a DSB and LR.

A refugium is the best bet..like the above post a deep sand bed, a lil extra live rubble rock and some macro algae....
