which pump for what?

i am upgrading my current setup, from a 40 gallon breeder with a 29 gallon sump to a 75 gallon display with a 40 gallon sump and 30 gallon upstream fuge.

i was just wondering, which pump i should use for return, and which i should use for a closed loop. I have a mag12 and a dolphin DP560. i would also like to know which i should put the scwd on....

i was thinking use the mag12 thru the scwd for the closed loop, and the dp 560 as a return up thru the fuge and then gravity back into the tank...

any expert advice to give?

That's what I would do. You'll want the extra flow of the mag12 for your loop.
