What is going on?

I have a 55G reef tank, during the night there is a lot of small creatures about 1 to 2 mm long, they swim, walk and jump on the glass of the aquarium. Some of them are some kind of worms about 1/4".
All of these creatures are white.

Now I am also setting up a 125G. I have put crushed coral in it and I am running it with fresh water, after two weeks I have the same living things on glass of the aquarium walking, jumping and swimming. In a fresh water, shouldn’t they be dead.

Any help?

Things like worms and bugs can be found in fresh water, too.

Can you post some images?

I think that they are too small to take a picture of them.
