Pagoda cup coloration question...

I have had my yoda cup now yellow pagoda cup now for 6 months in my 10 gal under 80watt PC. I was recently looking at pics drom when I first got at and realized how dark it has become. When I first put it in my tank it was soooooo bightly colored. Is this because it just faded? I have heard that vendors "dye" the corals so they are bright. Is this true?

yes, they can be dyed...articles on this practice at reefkeeping.com and many threads in this forum on it. If a T patula/peltata type, they are not yellow.
