I purchased this bad-boy for my 180 gallon new aquarium. I only ran it for a few minutes and it was obvious that this was way too much pump for my system. Sooooo... I am offering it up for sale.

It is practically new (used for a few minutes) and capable of some fantastic flow. I paid $280 for it from www.customaquatic.com (see this site for specs and such listed under Sequence 5200). I am offering it up for sale for $250.

If you would like it shipped, I still have the original box and will be happy to send it at the expense of the purchaser. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I'll give you $250 if you include shipping to 75093. Do you have the original recept you can send as well?

Sorry for the late reply. I do have the original receipt as well as the original documentation that came with the pump.

As far as your offer, I would like to wait for a few more days. If there are no other interested parties, I will take you up.

Thanks for your reply!

Dave

Man, I just bought a 5200 a week ago. Bummer.

Hell of a pump!

TTT... Some of you see that Electroman only has 22 posts and may be concerned. I can vouch that this he is a decent guy to deal with and need not be concerned with his lack of posts. One reason could be that I spend most every waking hour on RC because my job allows it, whereas Electroman does not.

No problem Dave. Just let me know if you want to sell it to me.

The problem you will have selling this pump is there are not many 400+ gallon tanks out there, and with a $30 difference, it's almost worth buying new in the event of any problems.

Good luck,

Sam

"The problem you will have selling this pump is there are not many 400+ gallon tanks out there"... I beg to differ. For whatever reason, there seems to be a rash of BIG tanks popping up as of recent. Heck, RC made a forum dedicated to BIG tanks. I would imagine you could run this pump on a 180g or so with a sump in the basement.

Does this have the SW upgrade on it? (seals, etc)

Thanks!

The pump does have all the saltwater seals and hardware on it (as purchased from customaquatic).
