I have had the anemone for around 5mo . It had grown alot in that time . But so have my GSMs. It still eats but never really extends. I just added mh lights. But the rbta looked bad before. My water parameters are really good and the anemone has never moved around. My greenbta looks great. any way heres a pichttp://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/49280sick-rbta.jpg

Looks like your clowns are nibbling on it. You need to remove one or the other in order for it to heal. Mouth looks great and is attached, they are just to rough with it. I have maroons and dont keep anemones with them as they are way to rough on them. Best of luck

Thanks nemo, It has been worse since I added the second gsm. Now that they are paired they never leave the anemone.

That will do it prodman, I would remove the bta or the maroons, the bigger they get the worse they are on the bta unfortunatly. I only keep clarkii and percula with my roses, they never bother the tenticles and love there bta so much that they take good care of them. Hope you can get it worked out. I know its nice to see the relationship they have but when the bta is being damaged, its time to do a removal. Karen

Heres the same rbta 3mo later. It healed up fast without the maroons beating it up. i had it in another tank butnow that I dont have the gsms anymore I was able to take it back. Im going to try the black A.polymnus this time. I have a nice pair in QT right now.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/49280bta2.jpg

She is looking great, still a bit bleached, keep up the feedings every few days or daily if she will take it. She will recover soon.
