What is fast?

What would you consider a fast growth rate for acropora and montipora? I've heard a lot of people talk about fast growth rates, but what exactly is fast? What would be considered slow (other than NONE :D)?

I have a Monti that grows ~1.5" a month...
I have a staghorn that's fairly close to that rate as well...

LOL well it depends.
species of acropora/montipora genetics adaption time its been in the aquarium frags genaration of frag lighting and temp whats in the water Many many things.
Saying that I have had a single 1/2" fragged branch that has spead out at the base and produced 10+ 1/2" tall branches in 4 months and a 1/2"fragged branch taken from a different species at the same time placed in the same area take a year too produce the same kind of growth.
Also at times they can just seem too stop growing altogether then start growing again.

As I said it depends :)
