Lime water question

I have a two liter diy drip jug, for my 55 gal. how much pickling lime do i mix in the jug? Drip about 1 per second

If you want saturated limewtaer, then put about one level teaspoon of lime in that 2 L (maybe a tad more), and let it settle before dripping (there will be residual solids). By trial and error measurement of calcium and especially alkalinity levels, you can decide if that is too much, or if you need to use something in addition to the limewater.

I personally use about "half saturated" limewater.
