View Full Version : adjusting reactor to keep alk and calcium up

my effluent on my reactor is at 6.49.....my ph on my tank ranges from 7.9 at lights on and 8.2 at lights off....My ca is at 400 and my alk is at 9.6...i would like to get my ca in the 430 range and my alk at 12-13..should i increase my drip rate and my c02..my tank is heavily stocked with sps and has 400 lbs of live rock..it is a 200 gallon tank

You may or may not be able to do it with that reactor (based on whether it is sized to meet that demand), but increasing the bubble rate is the likely way to try.
