I was browsing through the forum and noticed the thread: Do you have any experience with the LaMotte test kit for phosphates?

In it you recommended the Hach phosphate kit PO-19, do you recommend Hach for all test kits?

What test kits do you recommend?

I have been paying someone in the past to clean, test, and do water changes. I would like to take over as I have become more comfortable, in maintaining the delicate system.

I use and like the Hach alkalinity, magnesium and calcium, silica, and phosphate kits.

The LaMotte alk kit is nice.

I've used and like the Salifert kits as well (especially alkalinity, calcium, nitrate).
