Membrane shelf life?

What is the shelf life of a RO membrane? I have 2 but won't need it for a year or more depending on how my new one works. How long can it sit for?

I do not think these mebranes wear out on the shelf at all. They are a mechanical filtration type units. Just be absolutely sur you might check with the manufacturer..
