FYI, I HAVE one of those...It's going back...the thing used 6 amps bu itself! That's a bunch of electricity for something that small...o.k., they're not very small or quiet either...LOUD, rattles, and roars. Does a great job removing water, but at quite a cost and lots of noise...Found another one that draws about 1/3 as much, although it is only rated for about 28 pints per day.
