Phosphate media, phosphate removal time question.

Hi Rany,
I was wondering if there was any way to calculate how long it takes to remove Phosphatesfrom water in a holding tub.

If I had water in 55 gallon tub (no livestock, rock, sand etc.) and I placed an FBR with ROWA, Phosban Silphos etc.
Is it possible to say "in 'x' amount of time the water in the container will be Phosphate free."

I don't know of a way to calculate that. It is a complicated function of how much media you use, how much water there is and how much phosphate is in it, how low you want the phosphate to go, and exactly how the water is travelling over and through the media.
