What do you have planned?

The highlight of the weekend for us will be the 3rd annual piccolo pete races. It involves making small cars from Legos, strapping a piccolo pete to it and see how far it will go. It's fun watching the faces of the folks in the fireworks stand when you ask for 20 boxes of those things.

Big fun - but I think I'll be wearing earplugs this year. :D

Getting togeather at my Uncles has come to be somewhat of a tradition. It's always a good time. I usually watch them from my back yard, but I think I'll watch form town this time. My town is spending tripple what it usually does thanks to some outside donations.

4th of July rocks.

I'm ripping the back roof off of my Cape & building a full shed dormer, new master bedroom, 100 sq ft walk in closet, and a 1/2 bath (shower & 2 sinks).
I've already started ripping the roof/shingles off......I'm on vacation 4th of July week, so I have 9 days to get the roof sealed back up

Taking the jet boat out at the lake and playing, if my friend's wife doesn't see us. :( She makes us put it up when we start driving it too fast. We were planing on working on the motor to make it run faster but she won't let us. She said it is too fast already (85 MPH+). She always complains about it whenever we take out any of our toys. She already doesn't let us go out by ourselves.

I am going to spend a quiet weekend trying to decide why I spent so much money on fireworks just so they can all be gone in 20 minutes.

I will also count my fingers more than once to make sure nothing is missing.
