Randy,

Is it posible to use the Nutrafin CO2 Natural Plant System for CA reactor?

Do you have a description of it?

Randy,

Would this be a good way to provide CO2 to a small DIY reactor. Or for lower PH in Lime water?

It apparently uses sugar metabolism to release CO2. Some folks have tried similar systems for CaCO3/CO2 reactors, but have typically had trouble getting a stable CO2 addition rate.

To be honest, I do not know how well that system will work in seawater, as opposed to the freshwater that it is intended for.

You cannot add CO2 directly to limewater, although adding it to an aquarium that has too high of a pH is a reasonable approach.

Randy,

Thanks for the help. I have three units I had for my old planted tank and just wanted to see if it was possible. Soinid valve and ph controller wouldn't help?

ZC
