using a old medicated tank

hello everyone.

I'm in the process of changing my 65t FW tank to SW. The problem is, there has been medicine used in the tank. the complete list is hex-a-mit (metronidazole), paragon II (metronidazole, furazolidone, neomycin sulifate, naladixic acid, and sodium chloride), Quick Cure(formalin, malachite green), and Parasite Clear (praziquantel; N-[[(N-Chlorophenyl)amino]carbon 1]-2,6-difluorobenzamide; metronidazole; acriflavine). Will i still be able to use this tank? what precautions should i take? thanks

p.s. the silicone has been stained blue as a result

I'd wash the tank carefully with warm soap and water (not an antibacterial soap), then rinse it really well with water to be sure no soap remains, then it should be good to go (IMO). :)

thanks! i thought i would have to bleach the tank.

If there is a lot of organic scum coating the sides, bleach might be useful, but those medications should be soluble in warm soapy water.
