need some ballast help

hey guy,
i came home tonight and saw that my 10k 55w pc was out. at first i thought it was just turned off but when i went to turn it back on it wouldnt start. i tried switching the bulb with some extras that i have but that didnt work either. can anyone help me out? i have a duel 55w custom sealife ballast. any help would be very apreciated.

Check that the contacts in the socket have not been corroted or they are not dirty.
Test the tube on the good side to see if it starts, if so and the contacts are OK then the ballast may need replacement.

Jason ill let you use my 55w extra ballast if you need it....let me know ill be on aim.
