I just made a DIY Kalk dripper and put it to action. My tank evaporates about 2 cups of water daily, and I'm trying to set the drip rate to keep the level constant. My question is.....following the mixing ratio, 2 tbl spoons per gallon, how much of an effect would this have on my ph? I really don't have too much coral...

following the mixing ratio, 2 tbl spoons per gallon

2 teaspoons per gallon is about all that will dissolve.

It will have a substantial pH raising effect, although it isn't possible to say in advance how much as it depends on the rate of aeration, the alkalinity, and other factors. Without much in the way of corals, I'd add less lime, say 0.5 to 1 teaspoon per top off gallon.
