calc reactor, effluent is right ph but tank is not

I have a mrc cr1 cal reactor and the ph of the effluent is around 6.8 and I just got it to that today but my ph of my tank is around 8.0, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if this will correct itself, don't want the ph in the tank to drop too low.

your tanks ph is going to drop if you are using a calcium reactor. The easiest way i have found to bump the ph back up is to dose kalkwasser.

my tank before adding a reactor was 8.3 night/ 8.1 morning. After adding the reactor i was typically 7.8 morning/ 8.1 night. i added a nilson reactor and it bumped up the ph 0.2
