Cyano can be a tough problem. The ways to get rid of it include reduced inorganic nutrients, reduce organics, and more circulation.

ok thats good but in a refugium you want low circulation right i seem to have it spreeding there more then in my show tank what would be the best way of getting organic nutriants down?

Refugia often get cyano. Mine has some. If it isn't in the main tank too much, I wouldn't agonize over it.

Skimming and carbon are good ways to reduce organics.
