Help!! Carbon

I was trying to run some carbon in my tank using a canister filter. I was using it in my sump. Aparently the carbon would fit through the groves in the media holder. Some shot out into the sump. I got most of it out, but there is still maybe about 3 tablespoons left that I can't get out. Will this hurt anything? What happens to it, will it eventually disolve?:mad2:

carbon can't hurt anything...it will probably dissipate, but because it is all-natural, your tank will be fine IMO.

I agree it probably wont hurt anything, but couldnt you siphon it out when you do a water change?

Good point, and the stuff usually floats too.
