I had you Id this coral for me a few months ago.
You told me it was Porites
Its not looking so good anymore can you tell me if its dieing and what actions i can take to provent its death?

Can you give us all your tank, water chem, relevant equipment info as in Eric's `rules for posting' thread?
It's hard to say, just by pic. But I'll help if I can :)

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5 Mg/l
Phospates .5 - 1 Mg/l
Calcium 500 +Mg/l
KH 100 Mgl
Iron 0
copper never used in tank
Test are Hagen master kit
No Fish,
DSB Plenty of bristle, Pods, Snails of all kinds that reproduce every waterchange :-D
Mini and Macro Stars

1 shroom

4 Ricordia
1 Green Start polyp rock
1 Porites

Offhand, the phosphates are a big problem, and the nitrates are a little high, too. I would try and correct that first (You'll need to exchnage 90% of your water to have phsophates somewhat manageable, and perhaps a phosphate control product like the iron-based sponges would help and allow you to do somewhat less than that much water exchange). Make sure the Porites get strong water flow and bright light to encourage growth.

ahh, that might be it i removed my MJ 900 and put the 500, which is turned behind the Porites, Guess i need to have it more direct or go back to the MJ 900.
Ive been using Phosphoban since the begining. It came down and has settled at 1 Im trying to get a remora HOT and hope that will help my current skimmer isn't the best.
