Hi, Dr. Ron. I posted this on another forum but didn't have much luck so am re-posting here. Would much appreciate any feedback.

I was wondering what this thing is.
It lurks within the coral (at least I think that's coral... or maybe it's fire coral!) and moves around very slowly but only within the coral. It never leaves there.
It's white and looks like the business end of a mop.
Many thanks for any comments.

Might be sometype of nudibranch or sea slug.

If it only stays on the coral, be wary for it may just be eating it.

Try removing the thing and taking photos of it.

Hi,

Like Steve, I suspect it is a nudibranch of some sort. You will have to get a better image before I can give a more definitive identification, however.

I'm betting on family Facelinidae. :)
