does anyone use this product, and does anyone have any feedback or experiences they give me on it.

I am considering using it. I have some great things about, but I have also heard a few horror stories, any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Frank

Frank,

I tried the stuff a long time ago. It is just small chunks of PVC that is impregnated with a substance (thallic acid ester?) that encourages bacterial growth. The substance is eventually used up, and the Nitrex needs to be replaced. I've never heard of any horror stories associated with it. What I didn't like about it was the Nitrex box that you're supposed to put it in. The little chunks of PVC would generate nitrogen gas bubbles (like they should) but the bubbles would adhere to the Nitrex and lift it out of the box and they would settle back into the system. Maybe they've fixed that design problem by now...

What happened with your coil dentirator? Doesn't it handle the volume you need?

Regards,
Bob D.
