I have a new calcium reactor I just installed last weekend and took some readings today. My Calcium is holding steady at 400ppm but my alk is pushing off the chart at 16dkh. Previously I was dosing with B-Ionic two part and maintained steady readings. Is this something I should expect and if not what can I do to resolve it?

Thanks

The reactor is likely adding slightly more calcium and alkalinity than you need, but you notice it first in alkalinity. I'd back off a bit on the bubble rate, slowly, until the alkalinity stabilizes and eventually drops back a bit.
