50+ pics of clowns, and not a single one with both in focus. This is a job for an SLR, not my camera :) Here's papa:

And mama:

A couple of coral shots and a forminiferan:

A few mystery polyps that came on my Eleutherobia (which I thought was a mineabea until Eric B corrected me):

Also still in recovery. It's been a slow path, but considering this came out of the rubble bin at Jeff's, I'm pleased:

She only bites me occassionally now, just to remind me she can:

My new female YWG at the beginning of May:

Lovely Nicole. It's really starting to grow in nicely :)

I can't believe the change in the YWG. Who knew?

Thanks for the compliments.

The female YWG's bottom fins are now turning iridescent blue. Wow. It's hard to believe the change. The first two weeks she grew and put on weight and her face changed a lot. The second two weeks she's gone from bright yellow to white and gray -- and the gray is all turning blue. Her pale blue spots are also turning bright blue.

I love the bi color Nicole. I had never even see one of those until Pierce gave me one from his last tank two weeks ago. I love mine. A much prettier substitute for the lawnmower blenny IMO. The tank is looking great! Keep up the good work!

They are a handful sometimes, or at least mine is. She was only aggressive when she was first introduced and when I put her back in after removing the DSB -- basically in times of stress. I am still wondering about adding a clown goby and whether or not she will chase them.

I have no acros, I can take cast-off clown gobies :)

I have no idea how you get the pictures so crisp and pretty. I guess I am going to have to read this damn manual :mad2: I know my digital is not the best but I still expected better pictures without me actually having to read a manual :D My bi color is unphotographable ;) I took about twenty shots of it tonight and not one came out even close. Funny enough I got one of his head while shooting a different pic but the quality is pretty bad.

It just sits in that hole until I put the camera away and then it swims all over the place.

Well, my little green clown goby has already stripped the flesh off an acro in the middle of the colony :(

Lucky he's cute, and lucky it wasn't a favorite. My chances of getting him relocated are nil. So much for the theory they only did that when they were getting ready to nest.

BTW, Little Guy got moved over to the big boy tank on Friday. I've been watching him all day Sat and today. He's doing fine, and I think maybe he likes it better. A month ago the metallic shrimp goby claimed a cave on the left side of the tank, leaving the poor pistol shrimp on the right side all alone in his cave. Guess who claimed the pistol shrimp AND the cave ;)

Lucie, if you catch your clown goby I will take him. Maybe use a big jug and put it down over his home colony, then lift both out of the water? Glad to hear Little Guy has a best bud now!

Rich, my blenny is a big camera hog, but she did take time to settle in and not be afraid of me. She settles on rocks that aren't caves now, and maybe yours just needs some time. I'm starting to think mine is a female (bold and outgoing) and yours and Leo's are males (shy).

Well I couldn't tell you how to tell the difference in a blenny but mine must have taken offense to what you said because it was out all night tonight. I got it out of Pierces tank (thanks again Pierce for the 83rd time). I guess it just needed time to settle like you said. LOL, I just realised that everything in the picture above (except the feather duster) is out of Pierces tank. :D
