Does anyone know how to kill Xenia? I bought 2 small stalks and it spread like crazy and is smothering my other corals. I cut it back and scrape it off but any little speck that I leave grows back. I like some of it but not a whole tank of it. I tried Kalk but it just grows on top of it.
Any hints?

Burn them with a torch or frogspawn. Scrape the xenia down to the base with a scalpel or hobby sculpting tool. Scrub the are with a new toothbrush.

I used a wooden skewer to scrape the off and they grew back. I guess I did not get it all. I like your idea of the sculpting tool. It seems to co-exist with my frogspawn. The stuff is resiliant as hell. Cool avaitar, I remember the Slestacks. Will - Holley

Is it pulsing xenia? Sell it. People are always looking for it. Heck, one of the LFS around me will give you $10-$20 for a decent size cutting of it.

Physical removal is all I can think of...
