I am having trouble locating a GFCI that is good enough for an aquarium. THe guy at Lowes said he a has a reef aquarium and his GFCI caught fire 2 times. He called the maker and they told him it wasnt aquarium rated.

I have these cheap Timex manual timers and I hate them. They never have worked right. What timer do you all use? I need something easier to use.

Thx in advance!

Try the intermatic outdoor light timers. Home depot has them for less than $15. They have a grounded (3 prong) plug. As for the gfi, any of them will short if contacted with water.
