ok i have two Red/Orange Ricordea Mushrooms.
One is in my main tank, and the other is in a small tank i just started up (month or two ago).
The one in my main tank, stays open all day and night, where as the one in my small tank, always closes up after i turn the lights out. - so what gives? are they suppose to close up at night? and if not, why is the one in the small tank?
thanks!

Hey. No worries, they are supposed to (as do most corals!). Most either deflate, or close up on themselves and look like bubbles.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as the ricordia is expanding, that means you're doing something right. When it starts shrinking and becomes mushy, then I would worry.
