I found this guy up in a softy that I picked up this week.

Um, Cant say for sure but it looks like what I pulled out of my tank. They only come out after the lights are off and they eat soft corals. I'm sure I still have one in my tank but I can’t seem to catch him in the act. Mine were a light pink or peachy color.
Yours looks almost like mine but yours may a little darker.

Hey. Looks like some type of sea cucumber. Cucumbers are harmless filter feeders.....but some species release toxins if and when they die, so I would verify which type it is with someone that knows.

Hi,

It is a harmless dendrochirote (filter-feeding) sea cucumber. The ones that have rather dull coloration are generally fine for tanks, and are not toxic. They need a fair bit of phytoplankton, however, and generally do not persist for a long time in reef tanks.
