Moving a dsb?

Dr Ron,
i have upgraded my tank and want to move my sand bed.
Its teaming with life and has made my tank florish,is it possible to move it to my new tank or do i start again?
my new tank is larger so there will be additional sand(all live fiji pink)from agralive.
how should i add the two?
