Pod identification

Hi Dr Ron,

I just set of a 10g tank of local SW Fl Gulf: LS, nsw, encrusted rock, shells and macro. The amount of life forms is amazing! There must be a hundred different types of critters in there. What would you recomend as the best online source to help ID some of these? I have been using your site and this:

I mainly would just like to determine the good pods from the bad. If I scan several, would you do a multiple ID?

I really don't know of a good online site for animals from your region. You might check out this book:

Ruppert, E. E. and R. S. Fox. 1988. Seashore animals of the Southeast. Univ. South Carolina Press. Columbia. 429 pp.

I would be glad to try my hand on some of the identifications.
