What can I use to recalibrate my TDS meter?

Premium Aquatics and Marine Depot both sell TDS calibration fluid. I believe mine calibrates with 800PPM fluid. I'm not sure if there's a difference between cal fluids.
Here's the link on MD's site: http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=RO1353

The TDS meter I got from AquasafeCanada never requires recalibration.

Bob,

While I'm certainly not an expert on the subject, I don't think that calibrating TDS meters for our purposes is all that necessary. The difference between 0 ppm and say 20 ppm in our make-up water is really no big deal, considering that most of the stuff we strip from the water with our RO/DI's isn't bad to begin with.

That being said, I apologize for not having a direct answer to your question. ;p

I ask this because my batteries went dead and now when I test my water it is 0 when I know my DI is old and should be around 7-8 and my tap water is 2 when it should be 180-200. So either the TDS is broke or it needs to be calibrated.
So in my case it is necessary to calibrate.

Bob, you could borrow my TDS meter to see what readings you get.

I've got a backup to check for TDS and some 1382 ppm cal fluid (Hanna hand held meter). Let me know if you want to use it; I could probably stand to cal mine as well.
