PVC Cement drying time?

How long before the PVC cement is dry enough to flow water thru? I remember reading 30 mins somewhere but just want confirmation. Thanks

i have done 10 minutes max for over 4 years without any problems. i usually wait a couple minutes then put it online.

I just plumbed mine today, waited 4 hours to be safe.

A drip of pvc cement got into my refugium and it "hardened" on the surface so I mopped it out with a paper towel quickly.So far theres no ill effects to fish or corels....will do a 30% w/c tomorrow though.
