Just wanted to post a big Thanks! for all your assistance and articles. I had a major problem with high CA, low alk and pH. With your suggestions and article:

and others, my tank numbers are looking good. I actually added some Ca last night (it used to be over 600!) I have learned a great deal in the last few weeks. I thought all along that I was doing a good thing by adding a RO prep to my makeup water, when in fact it totally messed it up. Note to self: never add anything without testing for it!
