Choose a spot for a pistol shrimp/goby

Is there any way to "HELP" a shrimp and goby choose their final home? I don't want them to pick a place in the back of the tank where I can't see them.

Should I get the shrimp first or the watchman goby? Or at the same time?

I have found they go where they want to and will find each other in time so it doesn't really matter which one you get first. The shrimp may be best to get first only because it may help make a home that the goby will like when introduced.

I do try to make an inviting home were I want when arranging my rock and so far it's been successful--they like my home designs.
