Newby question here. What are the advantages of a dual chamber calcium reactor over a single chamber? Any disadvantages?

One advantage that I took into consideration before ordering my dual stage CR was CO2 burnoff. The second chamber helps to burn off the excess CO2 in the CR (calcium reactor). Some people inject their effluent (CR output) right into their protein skimmer to help burn off. I preferred the extra cylinder so I could use extra media. I have the MRC dual nano CR.

In layman's terms, your tank's pH isn't lowered as much. ;)

So there are no real disadvantages other than larger footprint?
