Here are pictures of my first TBS shipment, which consisted of the package 20 gallon (for my 37) and a 10 lbs of base rock for my fuge and 12G setup. Sorry for the low resolution, posting restrictions.

Very nice! Curious as to what hitchhikers (both good and bad) that you've seen so far.

Grats on the nice rock!

Hi,

No mantis so far. As for hitchhikers, I haven't noticed too many - although I haven't been watching at night when my moonlight is on. What I've found so far.

2 brittlestars
1 Astrea snail (1" or so)
1 inch long purple crab (not sure type, not a gorilla), barnacle growing on his shell.
lots of different pods, some up to 2 inches in length.
bunch of smaller snails (not sure of the type)
bunch of feather dusters
something that moved like a small fish, but I have seen it since I aquascaped the tank
6-7 mussels
tons of barnacles
3 clams
Vicious Sponge (AKA Chicken Liver Sponge)
Variable Yellow Boring Sponge
Lesser Star Coral
Spaghetti Worms
Tube Coral
bunch of other unknown sponges

Wow, that rock is like a smorgasboard. Can't wait to see it. Good luck.

Hi.

Looks like I might have a mantis in my tank. After my daily water change on the 37 last night I heard a series of clicks coming from the tank. Hopefully I can isolate the rock he is in. I'm on day 5 of my cycle, and I'm still doing fairly big daily water changes (6 gallons on the 12, 15 gallons on the 37) - total ammonia a little under 1 ppm. Had to take off a couple of dead sponges - inverts still seem to be doing fine. How does my TBS rock curing process compare to others?

Your TBS curing is going faster than ours. I didn't go to zero ammo until about day 8. The other guys were even longer. I cured mine in my display tank. They used vats.
