I found a simple way to color that stand-out white epoxy in your reef. Before you apply it, mix your two epoxy parts together, then mix in some POWDERED activated charcoal. Mix in a little and you'll get off-white. Mix in a lot and you'll get real dark grey. It's totally safe, non-toxic, and will not leach into your water because it's bonded. I use charcoal capsules found in my local drugstore's flatuluence section. You can grind your own from granulated filtration stuff, but the stuff in the capsules is already powdered super fine.

Another way to hide white epoxy after applying it to your frag or whatever is to hammer some base rock into a powder/tiny chips and then press it into the epoxy before it cures. Since it is rock, coraline algae should grow on it and completely cover it in time.
