Hello there everyone! Just thought I'd drop a quick line and say hello and let you know (if you didnt already) there is a new fish store in the Riverside area for you guys to check out!
Tell em Adrienne sent ya! :-)
Let me know what you think. I havent had a chance to get away from this desk long enough to get inland to get a look. They keep the key to this shackle out of my reach.

salties is not very good he fills his tanks up with city water? fish fantasy doenst know what their talking about an sell usless items. in my opinion coral sea tropical fish is the best. i bought my halides there and he gives good advice. where is fish planet and is it any good?

is K Pet still there too? it's in the Target complex on Arlington near the 91.
I know Salites proly not good. met him when he was at the wholesaler (Walt Smith's). Coral Sea was just in its infancy when I visited a while back, but it had potential. Hidden Reef was pretty good soem years ago, but disintegrated. The only other store with good livestock is Pet World in Redlands, but that place is expensive when it comes to corals.

Pet World is overpriced, yes. They also will stick you with a buncha junk you don't need. That store should be marked "buyer beware". They are nice but you need to walk in there knowing what you want and sticking to your guns.
There is another store in Redlands called Daryls Petshop. Leslie is the owners wife (who'd name escapes me at this very moment for some reason). They are fairly nice and have a decent saltwater selection. No sps the last time I was there though - although it's been a while.
Parkway Tropical Pets in Chino Hills (look in the yellow pages) is ok. It's owned by an old guy that is very nice, but they don't really appear to know a whole lot. Last time I was there their prices varied from week to week. One week they were fairly reasonable, then the following week they seemed a little high. Guess it depends on what wholesaler had the good stuff that week (Sure aint us this week ;-) )
Supposedly a marine fish store is in the East Highlands area somewhere. I had heard rumor of it but have not been able to get any additional information since then.
There is also Aquatic Creations (formerly known as Piece of the Reef) under new ownership in Rancho Cucamonga. Very small store but if you ask Andrew for what you are looking for - he'll go get it for you fish or drygood. He's pretty good at finding stuff. The last time I was there he had a small acro tank, some reg. coral / invert tanks and a fish system.
I havent lived inland in almost two years now so I dont know for sure how any of those stores are. If they don't exist anymore or really suck now - it aint my fault. Of course, I certainally hope that they all are doing even better now than before so I dont look like a goof.
(sorry about the long love letter, I'll shuddup now)
