I run two 3" Toyo fans on my 29 to cool the tank. I have always assumed Toyos to be great tans, and never really thought them particularly noisy, but on this tank they make a loudish and irritating "whining" sound that can be hard throughout my dwelling. People who talk to me on the phone hear it, even if I am well away from the tank.
So.. are all Toyos this noisy? Is there a way to quiet them? I actually placed little rubber washers b/t the canopy and the fans to try and quiet them, with no sucess. Any help is much appreciated.
